5. Setup Instructions

5.1 Attaching to a Camera Hot Shoe

1. Ensure the cold shoe adapter is securely attached to the base of the mini ball head.
2. Slide the cold shoe adapter into your camera's hot shoe mount.
3. Tighten the knurled wheel on the cold shoe adapter to secure the mount to the camera.

5.2 Attaching to a 1/4" Threaded Mount (e.g., Tripod)

1. If the cold shoe adapter is attached, unscrew it from the base of the mini ball head.
2. Screw the 1/4" threaded base of the mini ball head onto your tripod or other accessory with a 1/4" screw.
3. Tighten the base securely.

5.3 Mounting an Accessory to the Ball Head

1. Attach your accessory (e.g., monitor, light) to the 1/4" screw on top of the ball head.
2. Tighten the accessory securely onto the 1/4" screw.

6. Operating the Ball Head

1. To adjust the angle of your mounted accessory, loosen the large wingnut on the side of the ball head.
2. Carefully position your accessory to the desired angle. The ball head allows for 360-degree rotation and tilt.
3. Once the desired position is achieved, tighten the wingnut firmly to lock the ball head in place.

7. Maintenance and Care

• Keep the ball head clean from dust and debris. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
• Avoid over-tightening screws and nuts, as this can cause damage to the threads or components.
• Store the ball head in a dry environment to prevent corrosion.

8. Troubleshooting

8.1 Ball Head Not Holding Position

If the ball head is not holding its position, ensure the wingnut is fully tightened. The maximum load capacity for the ball head is 3 kg (6.6 lbs). Exceeding this weight may prevent it from holding position securely.

8.2 Difficulty Attaching/Detaching

Ensure all threads are clean and free from obstruction. Do not force components. If a component is stuck, gently try to loosen it or consult customer support.
