Operating the Subwoofer
Controls (Rear Panel)
All controls for volume, low pass filter, and phase toggle (0 to 180 degrees) are conveniently located on the rear panel of the subwoofer.
- Volume Control: Adjusts the overall output level of the subwoofer.
- Low Pass Filter (LPF): Sets the upper frequency limit for the subwoofer. This should be adjusted to blend seamlessly with your main speakers.
- Phase Toggle (0°/180°): Adjusts the phase of the subwoofer's output to match that of your main speakers, ensuring cohesive sound.
Initial Adjustment
Begin with the volume control at a low setting. Play audio with significant bass content. Gradually increase the volume until the bass blends naturally with your main speakers without overpowering them. Adjust the low pass filter and phase as needed for optimal integration.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the cabinet. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Placement: Ensure adequate ventilation around the subwoofer. Do not block the Power Port.
- Power: Disconnect power during electrical storms or when unused for extended periods.
