4. Setup
4.1 Setting the Time and Date
- In Timekeeping Mode, press the Mode button three times until the seconds digits start flashing. This indicates you are in setting mode.
- Press the Start/Stop button to cycle through the settings: Seconds → Hour → Minutes → Month → Date → Day of Week.
- Use the Light button to increase the flashing value. Hold it down to change values rapidly.
- Once all settings are correct, press the Mode button to exit the setting mode.
4.2 12/24-Hour Format Selection
In Timekeeping Mode, press the Start/Stop button to toggle between 12-hour and 24-hour (military) time formats.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Timekeeping Mode
This is the default mode, displaying the current time, date, and day of the week. To return to this mode from any other mode, press the Mode button until the current time is displayed without any flashing digits.
5.2 Stopwatch Mode
The stopwatch measures elapsed time in 1/100-second units.
- From Timekeeping Mode, press the Mode button once to enter Stopwatch Mode. The display will show '00:00:00'.
- Press the Start/Stop button to start the stopwatch.
- Press the Start/Stop button again to stop the stopwatch.
- To reset the stopwatch to '00:00:00', press the Light button while the stopwatch is stopped.

5.3 Alarm Mode
Set a daily alarm to sound at a specific time.
- From Timekeeping Mode, press the Mode button twice to enter Alarm Mode. The display will show the alarm time.
- Press the Start/Stop button to toggle the alarm ON/OFF. An alarm indicator will appear/disappear.
- To set the alarm time, press the Mode button while in Alarm Mode until the hour digits flash.
- Use the Light button to adjust the hour. Press Start/Stop to move to minutes, then use Light to adjust minutes.
- Press the Mode button to exit alarm setting mode.

5.4 LED Light
To illuminate the display, press the Light button. The light will stay on for a few seconds.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Water Resistance
Your Casio LA20WH watch is rated as Water Resistant, meaning it can withstand splashes, rain, and brief immersion in water (e.g., washing hands). It is not recommended for swimming, diving, or prolonged water exposure. Do not operate buttons while the watch is wet.
