Setup

Follow these steps to set up your KORG KROSS 2-61:

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the KROSS 2-61 from its packaging. Ensure all included components, such as the power adapter and any documentation, are present.

2. Power Connection: Connect the provided power adapter to the DC IN jack on the rear panel of the KROSS 2-61. Plug the adapter into a suitable power outlet.

3. Audio Output: Connect the AUDIO OUT jacks to your amplifier, mixer, or headphones using appropriate cables. For stereo sound, use both L/MONO and R jacks.

4. USB Connection (Optional): For MIDI communication with a computer or for using the KROSS2 Editor software, connect a USB cable from the KROSS 2-61's USB port to your computer.

Sound Engine and Programs

Use the CATEGORY dial to quickly browse through different instrument types like Piano, Organ, Brass, and more. The VALUE dial allows you to select specific programs within each category.

Realtime Controls

Adjust sound parameters in real-time using the dedicated knobs and switches. These controls allow for dynamic manipulation of sounds during performance or composition.

Step and MIDI Sequencers

The KROSS 2-61 includes built-in step and MIDI sequencers for creating and arranging musical phrases. Use the dedicated pads for intuitive step sequencing and drum track creation.

Audio Recorder
