4. Setup

4.1 Assembling the Stand

1. Place the monitor face down on a soft, clean cloth to prevent scratches.

4.2 Attaching the Shading Hood

The shading hood helps reduce glare and ambient light reflections for critical color work.

1. Align the hood sections with the grooves on the top and sides of the monitor bezel.
2. Gently slide and snap the hood into place. Ensure it is securely fastened.

4.3 Connecting Cables

• Power Cable: Connect one end to the monitor's power input and the other to a power outlet.
• Video Cable: Connect either an HDMI, DisplayPort, or USB Type-C cable from your computer's video output to the corresponding input on the monitor.

5.1 On-Screen Display (OSD) Navigation

5.2 Color Modes

The SW271 offers several professional color modes:
