It features advanced noise-canceling technology and a convenient mute button with an LED indicator for ease of use.

2.1 Connecting the Microphone

1. Locate an available USB port on your computer (Windows or macOS).
2. Connect the USB cable (1.8m/6ft) from the microphone directly to the USB port on your computer. Avoid using unpowered USB hubs if possible, as they may affect performance.
3. The microphone will be automatically recognized by your operating system.

Compatibility Note: This microphone is NOT compatible with Raspberry Pi or Android devices.

• No Sound or Low Volume:
  • Check the LED indicator on the microphone. If it's red, the microphone is muted. Press the mute button to unmute it.
  • Adjust the microphone input level in your computer's sound settings.
  • Ensure the correct microphone (CMTECK USB Microphone) is selected as the default input device in your communication or recording software.
  • Speak within the 3-meter (10-foot) pickup range for optimal performance.
• Sound is Muffled or Distorted:
  • Ensure the microphone is placed on a stable, flat surface and not obstructed.
  • Check for any background noise that might be interfering with the audio. While the microphone has noise cancellation, extreme noise can still affect clarity.
  • Adjust the microphone input level; too high a level can cause distortion.
• No Built-in Speaker:
  • As stated in the introduction, this model does not include a speaker. You will need to use your computer's built-in speakers, headphones, or external speakers for audio output.
