Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
- Automatic Power On/Off: The dashcam will automatically power on and begin recording when the vehicle's ignition is turned on, and power is supplied. It will power off shortly after the ignition is turned off.
- Manual Power On/Off: Press and hold the power button (if available) for a few seconds to manually turn the device on or off.

- Continuous Recording: The device continuously records video in 1-minute segments. When the microSD card is full, the oldest files will be overwritten by new recordings (loop recording).
- Event Recording (G-Sensor): If the G-sensor detects a sudden impact or collision, the current recording segment and a segment before/after the event will be automatically saved to a protected folder, preventing it from being overwritten.
- Manual Recording (One-Touch): Press the designated button (refer to device layout) to manually save the current recording segment to the protected folder.
- Parking Surveillance (Motion Detection): With an optional constant power supply accessory, the dashcam can monitor for motion while the vehicle is parked and automatically record if movement is detected.
Playback
- On-Device Playback: Use the device's screen and navigation buttons to browse and play recorded videos.
- PC Playback: Remove the microSD card and insert it into a computer. Use the dedicated Yupiteru viewer software (downloadable from the official Yupiteru website) for detailed playback, including GPS data overlay.
