4. Operating Instructions
Learn how to effectively use your Monzana Slow Juicer for fresh, nutritious juice.
4.1 Preparing Ingredients
- Wash all fruits and vegetables thoroughly.
- For most fruits and vegetables, the 81mm wide feeding chute allows for minimal pre-cutting. Harder items like carrots or celery should be cut into smaller pieces (approx. 2-3 cm).
- Remove large seeds, pits, and hard skins (e.g., pineapple, melon, citrus fruits).
- Fibrous vegetables like celery or kale should be cut into short lengths to prevent clogging.

Figure 4.1: The wide feeding chute accommodates larger pieces of fruit, reducing preparation time.
4.2 Juicing Process
- Plug the juicer into a power outlet.
- Press the 'ON/OFF' button to turn on the juicer.
- Select your desired speed (1 or 2) using the speed buttons. Speed 1 is generally for softer fruits, and Speed 2 for harder vegetables.
- Slowly feed the prepared ingredients into the feeding chute. Use the food pusher only if necessary, applying gentle pressure. Do not force ingredients.
- The juice will flow into the juice pitcher, and the pulp will be expelled into the pulp container.
- Utilize the anti-drip cap on the juice outlet to control juice flow and prevent spills between servings.

Figure 4.2: The anti-drip cap prevents drips and allows for controlled juice dispensing.

4.3 Reverse Function
If ingredients become jammed or the juicer stops, press and hold the 'Reverse' button (often integrated with the speed control or a separate button, refer to your specific model's panel). This will rotate the auger in the opposite direction to clear blockages. Release the button, then resume normal operation.

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your juicer.
5.1 Disassembly for Cleaning

- Remove the juice pitcher and pulp container.
