Setup
1. Charging Your Headphones
Before initial use, fully charge your Beats Studio3 headphones. Connect the supplied Micro USB charging cable to the charging port on the right ear cup and the other end to a USB power source.
- The Fuel Gauge LEDs on the right ear cup will indicate the battery level during charging.
- A full charge provides up to 22 hours of listening time with Pure ANC on, or 40 hours with Pure ANC off.
- Fast Fuel: A 10-minute charge provides 3 hours of playback when the battery is low.

2. Powering On/Off
Press and hold the power button on the right ear cup for 1 second to power on or off. The Fuel Gauge LEDs will illuminate when powered on.
3. Pairing with Devices
Your Beats Studio3 headphones utilize the Apple W1 chip for seamless pairing with Apple devices and Class 1 Bluetooth for other devices.
For Apple Devices (iOS 10 or later):
- Ensure your iPhone is unlocked and Bluetooth is enabled.
- Hold your Beats Studio3 headphones near your unlocked iPhone.
- A setup animation will appear on your iPhone. Follow the on-screen instructions.
- Once paired, your headphones will automatically connect to other Apple devices signed into your iCloud account.
For Other Bluetooth Devices (Android, PC, etc.):
- Power on your headphones.
- Press and hold the power button on the right ear cup for 5 seconds until the Fuel Gauge LEDs begin to flash, indicating pairing mode.
- On your device, go to Bluetooth settings and select "Beats Studio3" from the list of available devices.
- Once connected, the Fuel Gauge LEDs will glow solid white.
Operating Your Headphones
1. Pure Adaptive Noise Cancelling (Pure ANC)
Pure ANC actively blocks external noise for an immersive listening experience. It continuously calibrates audio in real-time to preserve sound clarity, range, and emotion.
- Pure ANC is automatically enabled when you power on your headphones.
- To turn Pure ANC off (and enter low power mode for extended battery life), double-press the power button. Double-press again to re-enable Pure ANC.
2. Audio Playback Controls
The 'b' button on the left ear cup serves as the multi-function control.
- Play/Pause: Press the 'b' button once.
- Skip Forward: Press the 'b' button twice.
- Skip Backward: Press the 'b' button three times.
3. Volume Controls
Volume buttons are located above and below the 'b' button on the left ear cup.
- Volume Up: Press the top volume button.
- Volume Down: Press the bottom volume button.
4. Phone Call Controls
Use the 'b' button on the left ear cup for call management.
- Answer/End Call: Press the 'b' button once.
- Answer Second Incoming Call/Switch Calls: Press the 'b' button once.
