Setup and First Use
- Unpack: Carefully remove the kettle and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
- Clean: Before first use, fill the kettle with cold water up to the MAX fill line. Boil the water, then discard it. Repeat this process twice to remove any manufacturing residues.
- Position: Place the power base on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface, away from water sources and edges.
- Connect: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
Operating Instructions
- Fill the Kettle: Press the lid release button to open the lid. Fill the kettle with the desired amount of fresh cold water. Do not fill below the MIN mark or above the MAX mark (1.5L). Close the lid securely.
- Place on Base: Place the kettle firmly onto its 360° rotating power base.
- Start Boiling: Press the ON/OFF switch downwards. The illuminated indicator light will turn on, indicating that the kettle is heating.
- Automatic Shut-Off: The kettle will automatically switch off once the water has boiled. The indicator light will turn off, and the switch will return to the UP position.
- Keep Warm Function: The kettle features a 30-minute keep warm function. After boiling, the water will remain warm for approximately 30 minutes.
- Pouring: Carefully lift the kettle from its base and pour the hot water. Always pour slowly and steadily to avoid splashing.
- Re-boiling: If you need to re-boil water, ensure the switch is in the UP position before pressing it down again.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your KRUPS electric kettle.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Interior Cleaning (Descaling): Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up inside the kettle, especially in hard water areas.
- Fill the kettle with 1 part white vinegar and 2 parts water.
- Bring the mixture to a boil and let it stand for at least 30 minutes, or longer for heavy scale.
- Empty the kettle and rinse thoroughly with fresh water several times.

- Alternatively, use a commercial descaling solution designed for kettles, following the product's instructions.
