4. Installation

5. Operation
First Use
Before the first use, ensure the ON/OFF switch on the back of each light is set to the "ON" position. Place the lights in direct sunlight for at least 6-8 hours to allow the internal battery to fully charge.
Automatic Operation
Once fully charged and the switch is "ON", the JACKYLED Solar Step Lights will automatically turn on at dusk and turn off at dawn. The integrated light sensor detects ambient light levels to manage this function.
Lighting Duration
On a full charge, the lights can provide illumination for up to 12 hours, depending on the amount of sunlight received during the day and environmental conditions.
6. Maintenance
Cleaning
- Regularly clean the solar panel surface with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, or debris. A clean panel ensures maximum charging efficiency.

7. Troubleshooting
- Light does not turn on at night:
- Ensure the ON/OFF switch is in the "ON" position.
- Verify the solar panel is receiving sufficient direct sunlight (6-8 hours) during the day. Relocate if necessary.
- Check for any obstructions (leaves, dirt) on the solar panel and clean it.
- If it's a new installation, allow a full day of charging before expecting illumination.
- Light duration is short or dim:
- The solar panel may not be receiving enough sunlight. Ensure optimal placement.
- Clean the solar panel regularly.
