This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your Ardes AR4C05 Smoothy Turbo Convector. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the appliance and retain it for future reference.
The Ardes AR4C05 is a convector heater equipped with Turbo Ventilation, designed to distribute warm air quickly and evenly. It features three selectable power levels, a thermostat for temperature adjustment, and an operation indicator light. The unit includes an overheat protection system.
2. Safety Information
Important Safety Instructions:
- Read all instructions before using this heater.
- Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower, or a swimming pool.
- Do not use this heater if it has been dropped or if there are visible signs of damage.
- Use this heater on a horizontal and stable surface.
- Keep combustible materials such as furniture, curtains, and other flammable items at least 1 meter (3 feet) from the front and sides of the heater.
- Do not cover the heater. Covering the heater can cause overheating and fire.
- Supervise children and pets when the heater is in operation.
- Always unplug the heater when not in use.
- Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped, or damaged in any manner.
- This appliance is equipped with an overheat protection system. If the heater overheats, it will automatically shut off. Unplug the heater, allow it to cool, and then plug it back in. If the issue persists, contact customer support.

4. Setup
Unpacking: Carefully remove the heater from its packaging. Retain packaging for storage or disposal. Check for any signs of damage. If damaged, do not operate the heater and contact customer support.
Foot Assembly: Attach the feet to the base of the heater using the provided screws. Ensure they are securely fastened to provide stability. Avoid overtightening screws to prevent damage to the casing.
Placement:
- Place the heater on a firm, level surface.
- Ensure there is at least 1 meter (3 feet) of clear space around the heater from walls, furniture, curtains, and other combustible materials.
- Do not place the heater directly below a power outlet.
- Avoid placing the heater in areas where it could be easily knocked over by children or pets.
- Ensure the power cord is not obstructed or placed under carpets.
5. Operating Instructions
Initial Use: When using the heater for the first time, a slight odor may be present. This is normal and will dissipate after a short period of use. It is recommended to operate the heater in a well-ventilated area for the first hour.
Controls: The heater features two control knobs on the side:
- Power Selector Knob: Used to select the heating power level.
- Thermostat Control Knob: Used to set the desired room temperature.

To Operate:
- Plug the heater into a suitable electrical outlet (220-240V, 50Hz).
- Turn the Power Selector Knob to choose one of the three power settings (e.g., Low, Medium, High). The operation indicator light will illuminate.
- Turn the Thermostat Control Knob to your desired temperature setting. The heater will operate until the room reaches the set temperature, then cycle on and off to maintain it.
- To use the Turbo Ventilation function, ensure the power selector is set to a heating level. The fan will assist in circulating warm air more rapidly.
- To turn off the heater, turn the Power Selector Knob to the "OFF" position and unplug the unit from the wall outlet.
6. Maintenance
Cleaning:
- Always unplug the heater and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Do not immerse the heater in water or allow water to drip into the interior.
- Periodically vacuum the air intake and outlet grilles to remove dust and lint.
Storage:
- When not in use, store the heater in a cool, dry place.
- It is recommended to store the heater in its original packaging to protect it from dust and damage.

7. Troubleshooting
