1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the Jocca 2853U Ceramic Heater. This manual provides important information for the safe and efficient operation of your new appliance. Please read these instructions carefully before use and keep them for future reference.

The Jocca 2853U ceramic heater features a compact design and offers 1500W of power for effective heating. Its 60° oscillation function helps distribute warmth evenly throughout a room. This appliance is designed for indoor use to provide supplemental heating and ventilation.

2. Safety Instructions

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, observe the following safety precautions:

• Read all instructions before using this heater.
• This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
• Always use the handle when moving this heater.
• Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 meters) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
• Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
• Always unplug heater when not in use.
• Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
• Do not use outdoors.
• This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas, and similar indoor locations. Never locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
• Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
• To disconnect heater, turn controls to OFF, then remove plug from outlet.
• Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
• To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
• A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
• Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
• Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).

4. Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the heater from its packaging. Retain the packaging for storage or future transport.
2. Placement: Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is at least 3 feet (0.9 meters) of clear space around the heater to allow for proper airflow and to prevent fire hazards. Do not place it on soft surfaces like carpets or rugs that might block the air intake.
3. Power Connection: Ensure the heater is switched OFF (control knobs set to '0' and minimum temperature) before plugging it into a standard 220-240V AC electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.

5. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps to operate your ceramic heater:

1. Power On: Plug the heater into a suitable electrical outlet.
2. Select Mode: Use the right control knob to select the desired operating mode:
   • Fan Only (Fan icon): For air circulation without heat.
   • Low Heat (One wave icon): Provides 750W of heating power.
   • High Heat (Two wave icons): Provides 1500W of heating power.
3. Adjust Thermostat: Use the left control knob to set the desired temperature. Turn clockwise for higher temperatures. The heater will cycle on and off to maintain the set temperature.
4. Activate Oscillation: Press the central button on the control panel to activate the 60° oscillation function. Press it again to stop oscillation.
5. Power Off: To turn off the heater, set the mode knob to '0' and the thermostat knob to its minimum setting. Unplug the heater from the wall outlet when not in use.

6. Maintenance

• Before Cleaning: Always unplug the heater from the power outlet and allow it to cool down completely before cleaning.
• Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior surfaces of the heater with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents as they may damage the finish.
• Air Intake/Outlet: Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to gently remove dust and lint from the air intake and outlet grilles. Ensure these openings are clear to prevent overheating.
• Storage: When not in use, store the heater in a cool, dry place. It is recommended to store it in its original packaging to protect it from dust and damage.
• Do Not Immerse: Never immerse the heater in water or any other liquid.
