3. Setup

3.1. Battery Installation

The remote control requires batteries for operation. Batteries are not included with the remote control and must be purchased separately. Typically, two AAA batteries are required, but please verify the battery compartment for specific requirements.

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
  2. Slide the cover downwards or press the latch (if present) to open the compartment.
  3. Insert the new batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment. Incorrect insertion can damage the remote control.
  4. Slide the battery compartment cover back into place until it clicks securely.

4.1. Basic Functions

  • Power Button (O|): Press this button to turn the air conditioner ON or OFF.

  • Mode Button (MODE): Press this button repeatedly to cycle through the available operating modes: Auto, Cool, Dry, Fan, Heat (if applicable). The current mode will be displayed on the remote's LCD screen.
  • Fan Speed Button (FAN): Press this button to adjust the fan speed. Options typically include Auto, Low, Medium, High.

    • O (Timer OFF): Sets the time for the air conditioner to turn off.

5. Maintenance

5.1. Cleaning the Remote Control
