6. Operating Instructions
This LED wall lantern features both a dusk-to-dawn sensor and remote control functionality.
6.1 Dusk to Dawn Operation
- The integrated dusk-to-dawn sensor automatically turns the light on when ambient light levels fall (at dusk) and turns it off when light levels rise (at dawn).
- Ensure the sensor (visible on the top of the fixture, see Figure 5.1) is not obstructed by eaves, trees, or other objects that could block natural light.
6.2 Remote Control Operation
- The included remote control allows for manual override or additional control options (e.g., dimming, timer functions) if supported by the specific remote model. Refer to the remote control's separate instructions for detailed functionality.
- Point the remote control directly at the fixture for optimal response.

7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your outdoor lantern.
- Cleaning: To clean the fixture, ensure power is off at the circuit breaker. Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or polishes as they may damage the finish or glass.
- LED Light Source: The LED light source is integrated and designed for long-term use. It is not user-replaceable. If the LED fails, the entire fixture may need replacement.
- Sensor: Periodically check the dusk-to-dawn sensor for dirt or obstructions. Clean gently with a soft cloth if necessary.
8. Troubleshooting
If you experience issues with your wall lantern, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Light does not turn on. | No power to the fixture. Faulty wiring connection. Sensor obstructed or in bright light. | Check circuit breaker/fuse. Verify all wiring connections are secure (with power off). Ensure sensor is clear and in a dark environment. |
| Light stays on during the day. | Sensor is obstructed or faulty. Insufficient ambient light reaching the sensor. | Clear any obstructions from the sensor. Relocate fixture if necessary to ensure proper light exposure. If remote controlled, check remote settings. |
| Light flickers or dims. | Loose wiring connection. Power fluctuations. Fixture damage. | Check all wiring connections (with power off). Consult an electrician if power fluctuations are suspected. Contact customer support if fixture is damaged. |
If troubleshooting steps do not resolve the issue, please contact customer support.
