1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your Acer ED242QR Abidpx 23.6-inch Curved Gaming Monitor. 2. Safety Information

4. Setup

4.1. Monitor Assembly

  1. Carefully remove the monitor and stand components from the packaging.
  2. Attach the stand neck to the monitor panel. Ensure it clicks securely into place.
  3. Attach the stand base to the stand neck. Tighten the screw at the bottom of the base to secure it.
  4. Place the assembled monitor on a stable, flat surface.

4.2. Connecting to a Computer

The monitor supports DisplayPort, HDMI, and DVI inputs. For optimal performance, especially for the 144Hz refresh rate, use the DisplayPort connection.

  1. Ensure both the monitor and your computer are powered off.
  2. Connect one end of the DisplayPort cable (included) to the DisplayPort output on your computer's graphics card.
  3. Connect the other end of the DisplayPort cable to the DisplayPort input on the back of the monitor.
  4. Alternatively, use an HDMI or DVI cable to connect to the respective ports on the monitor and your computer.
  5. Connect the power cord to the monitor's power input, then plug the other end into a power outlet.
  6. Power on your computer, then power on the monitor.

5. Operating the Monitor

5.1. On-Screen Display (OSD) Controls

The monitor's settings are adjusted using a joystick control located on the back of the monitor. This joystick allows you to navigate through the OSD menu and select options.

  • Press the joystick: Enters the OSD menu or confirms a selection.
  • Move joystick Up/Down: Navigates through menu options.
  • Move joystick Left/Right: Adjusts values or moves between sub-menus.
