3. Setup

3.1 Setting the Time

  1. Pull the crown out to position 2 (the outermost position).
  2. Rotate the crown to move the hour and minute hands to the desired time. Ensure AM/PM is correctly set if your watch has a 24-hour indicator or date changes at midnight.
  3. Push the crown back into position 0 (normal operating position).

3.2 Setting the Date

  1. Pull the crown out to position 1 (the middle position).
  2. Rotate the crown to adjust the date.
  3. Once the correct date is displayed, push the crown back into position 0.
  4. Note: Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this can damage the movement. If you need to set the date during this period, first set the time outside this window, adjust the date, then reset the time.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Using the Chronograph Function

Your Invicta S1 Rally watch features a chronograph (stopwatch) function. The pushers on the side of the case control this feature.

4.2 Water Resistance

This watch is water resistant to 100 meters (330 feet). This makes it suitable for swimming and snorkeling, but not for diving.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning Your Watch

To maintain the appearance of your watch, regularly wipe the case and bracelet with a soft, dry cloth. For more thorough cleaning, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

5.2 Battery Replacement

Your quartz watch is powered by a lithium metal battery. When the battery runs low, the watch may stop or the second hand may jump in irregular intervals. Battery replacement should be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and water resistance.

5.3 Storage

When not wearing your watch, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. The original Invicta box (Figure 5.1) provides excellent protection.
