3. Setup

3.1 Installing the Dash Cam

  1. Clean the Windshield: Ensure the area on your windshield where you plan to mount the dash cam is clean and dry.
  2. Attach Suction Mount: Secure the suction mount to the windshield. Press firmly and flip the lever to lock it in place.
  3. Mount the Dash Cam: Slide the dash cam onto the mount until it clicks into place. Adjust the camera angle to ensure a clear view of the road ahead and the cabin.
  4. Connect Power: Plug the car charger into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket and connect the other end to the dash cam's USB charge port. Route the cable neatly along the windshield and dashboard to avoid obstructing your view.

3.2 Inserting the Memory Card

The AZDOME GS65H supports up to a 64GB Micro SD card. A Class 10 or higher speed rating is recommended for reliable recording.

  1. Power Off: Ensure the dash cam is powered off before inserting or removing the memory card.
  2. Insert Card: Gently insert the Micro SD card into the memory card slot until it clicks into place.
  3. Format Card: For first-time use or if you encounter recording issues, format the memory card using the dash cam's menu. This ensures compatibility and optimal performance.
