4. Setup and Assembly
Follow these steps carefully to assemble your Vision VFM-F stand. It is recommended to have at least two people for assembly, especially when mounting the display.
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and lay them out on a clean, flat surface. Verify all components against the "Package Contents" list.
- Assemble Base: Attach the vertical columns to the base of the stand using the provided screws and tools. Ensure all connections are tight and secure.
- Attach Display Mounting Bracket: Secure the display mounting bracket to the vertical columns at the desired height. The bracket allows for vertical adjustment.
- Prepare Display: Lay your flat-panel display face down on a soft, clean surface. Attach the VESA mounting arms (if separate from the main bracket) to the back of your display using the appropriate screws and spacers. The VFM-F supports VESA patterns up to 800 x 600 mm.
- Mount Display: With assistance, carefully lift the display and hook the VESA mounting arms onto the display mounting bracket on the stand. Ensure the display is securely seated and locked into place.
- Secure Display: Tighten any safety screws or locking mechanisms on the display mounting bracket to prevent accidental dislodgement of the display.

5. Operating the Stand
The Vision VFM-F stand is designed for static placement once a display is mounted.
- Placement: Position the stand on a flat, stable, and level surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the display for ventilation and viewing.
- Height Adjustment: The display mounting bracket can be adjusted vertically along the main columns during assembly. Once the display is mounted, further height adjustments typically require dismounting the display, repositioning the bracket, and remounting. Refer to Section 4 for details.
- Cable Management: Utilize any integrated cable management features (e.g., channels or clips) on the stand to route and secure display cables, ensuring a tidy and safe setup.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance will ensure the longevity and safe operation of your VFM-F stand.
- Cleaning: Wipe the stand with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn marks, a slightly damp cloth with mild detergent can be used, followed by drying. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Inspections: Periodically check all screws and fasteners to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten if necessary.
- Storage: If storing the stand for an extended period, disassemble it and store components in their original packaging or a protective container in a dry environment.
7. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Stand is wobbly/unstable. | Not all screws are tightened; stand is on an uneven surface; weight limit exceeded. | Ensure all assembly screws are fully tightened. Move the stand to a flat, level surface. Verify display weight is within the 130 kg limit. |
| Display cannot be mounted. | Incorrect VESA pattern; display too heavy/large. | Check your display's VESA pattern against the stand's 800x600mm compatibility. Confirm display weight and size are within limits (130 kg, 110 inches). |
| Scratches on stand surface. | Improper cleaning materials used. | Use only soft cloths and mild, non-abrasive cleaners as described in the Maintenance section. |
