  2. Close Lid: Place the lid on the multicooker and turn it clockwise until it locks into place. Ensure the pressure release valve is in the correct position for pressure cooking (usually sealed).
  3. Select Program: Plug in the multicooker. Press the Menu button repeatedly to cycle through the available cooking programs until your desired program is selected.
  4. Adjust Settings (Optional): If the selected program allows, use the Setting button and +/- buttons to adjust cooking time, pressure level, or other parameters.
  5. Start Cooking: Press the Start button to begin the cooking process. The multicooker will preheat, build pressure (if applicable), and then begin the cooking countdown.
  6. Pressure Release (for Pressure Cooking): Once cooking is complete, the multicooker will beep. You can choose between:
    • Natural Release: Allow the pressure to dissipate naturally. This can take 10-40 minutes depending on food volume. The float valve will drop when pressure is released.
    • Quick Release: Carefully turn the pressure release valve to the 'Venting' position. Steam will rapidly escape. Keep hands and face away from the steam. Only use quick release for recipes that specify it.
  7. Open Lid: Once the pressure indicator has dropped completely, turn the lid counter-clockwise and lift it carefully away from you to avoid residual steam.
  8. Serve: Remove the inner pot and serve your meal.

Keep Warm Function:

After most cooking programs, the multicooker will automatically switch to the 'Keep Warm' function for up to 12 hours. Press Cancel to exit this mode.

Delay Start (Timer Function):

To set a delayed start time:

  1. Select your desired cooking program and adjust settings as needed.
  2. Press the Timer button. Use the +/- buttons to set the delay time (in hours).
  3. Press Start. The multicooker will count down the delay time before beginning the cooking program.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Oursson MP5005PSD Pressure Multicooker.

  1. Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
