Controls and Ports

Setup

1. Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the radio.
  2. Slide the cover open.
  3. Insert the provided BL-5C Lithium-Ion battery, ensuring the contacts align correctly.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Charging the Battery

  1. Connect the small end of the included USB charging cable to the DC 5V input port on the side of the radio.
  2. Connect the larger end of the USB cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The charging indicator light will illuminate. The light typically turns off or changes color when charging is complete.
  4. A full charge takes approximately 2-3 hours.

3. Inserting a Micro TF Card or USB Disk (for MP3 Playback)

  1. Ensure the radio is powered off.
  2. For a Micro TF card: Gently insert the card into the TF card slot until it clicks into place.
  3. For a USB disk: Insert the USB disk into the USB port.
  4. The radio will automatically detect the storage device when powered on and switched to MP3 mode.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

Slide the power switch located on the side of the radio to the "ON" position to power on. Slide it to "OFF" to power off.

2. Mode Selection

Press the MODE button repeatedly to cycle through the available modes: FM Radio, AM Radio, and MP3 Player (if a TF card or USB disk is inserted).

3. FM/AM Radio Operation

  1. Select Radio Mode: Press the MODE button until "FM" or "AM" appears on the display.
  2. Extend Antenna: For optimal reception, fully extend the telescopic antenna.
  3. Automatic Station Scan: Long press the Previous (◀◀) or Next (▶▶) button to automatically scan for and stop at the next available station.
  4. Manual Tuning: Use the numeric keypad to directly enter a frequency (e.g., for 106.7 FM, press 1-0-6-7).
  5. Volume Adjustment: Adjust the volume using the dedicated volume controls, typically located on the side of the device or integrated with other function buttons.

4. MP3 Playback Operation

  1. Select MP3 Mode: Press the MODE button until "MP3" or a track number appears on the display.
  2. Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause (▶⏸) button to start or pause playback.
  3. Next/Previous Track: Press the Next (▶▶) button to skip to the next track. Press the Previous (◀◀) button to go to the beginning of the current track, or press it again to go to the previous track.
  4. Volume Adjustment: Adjust the volume using the dedicated volume controls, typically located on the side of the device or integrated with other function buttons.
  5. Direct Track Selection: Use the numeric keypad to enter the track number directly.

5. Flashlight Function

Press the LED button to turn the built-in flashlight ON. Press it again to turn the flashlight OFF.

Troubleshooting
