Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and accuracy of your INEVIFIT Body-Analyzer Scale, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Wipe the scale's surface with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the scale in water.
- Storage: Store the scale in a cool, dry place. Avoid extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Always replace all 4 AAA batteries at the same time.
- Avoid Impact: Do not drop the scale or subject it to heavy impact, as this may damage the sensors.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your scale, try the following steps:
- No Display/Low Battery: Check if batteries are correctly installed. Replace all 4 AAA batteries if the display is dim or not showing.
- Inaccurate Readings:
- Ensure the scale is placed on a hard, flat, and level surface.
- Perform auto-calibration by stepping on and off the scale until "0.0" is displayed.
- For body composition analysis, ensure bare feet are making good contact with all four metal electrodes.
- Verify that the correct user profile (gender, age, height) is selected.
- Error Messages: Refer to the full instruction manual for specific error code meanings. Often, re-calibrating or replacing batteries can resolve common errors.
- Clearing Memory: To erase all user profile information, tap the "SET" button to power on the scale, then press and hold both the Up and Down arrow buttons firmly until "CLR" is displayed on the screen.
