5. Setup
5.1 Placement
Place the humidifier on a flat, stable, and water-resistant surface at least 6 inches away from walls and furniture. Ensure the mist outlet is not directed at walls or furniture to prevent moisture damage.

5.2 Filling the Water Tank
- Unplug the humidifier from the power outlet.
- Carefully lift the water tank from the base.
- Unscrew the water tank cap.
- Fill the tank with clean, cool tap water. Distilled or demineralized water is recommended to prevent mineral buildup and white dust.
- Securely screw the cap back onto the water tank.
- Place the filled water tank back onto the humidifier base, ensuring it is seated correctly.
5.3 Adding Essential Oils (Optional)
To use the aroma therapy feature:
- Locate the essential oil diffuser tray on the side of the humidifier base.
- Pull out the tray.
- Add a few drops of your preferred essential oil onto the aroma pad within the tray.
- Slide the tray back into its slot.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Power On/Off and Mist Control
- Plug the humidifier into a standard electrical outlet.
- Turn the mist control knob clockwise to turn the unit on and adjust the mist output from low to high. The power indicator light will illuminate green.
- Turn the mist control knob counter-clockwise until it clicks to turn the unit off.
6.2 LED Night Light Operation
Press the 'LED' button located next to the mist control knob to cycle through the multi-color light options or turn the light off.

7. Maintenance
Regular cleaning is essential for optimal performance and hygiene.
7.1 Daily Maintenance
- Empty the water tank and base daily.
- Rinse the tank and base with fresh water.
- Wipe down all surfaces with a soft, damp cloth.
7.2 Weekly Maintenance
- Unplug the unit and disassemble the water tank from the base.
- Clean the water tank and base with a mixture of white vinegar and water (1:1 ratio) to remove mineral deposits. Let it soak for 20-30 minutes.
- Use a soft brush or cloth to gently clean the ultrasonic transducer (the small disc in the base).
- Rinse all components thoroughly with clean water until the vinegar smell is gone.
- Dry all parts completely before reassembling or storing.
7.3 Aroma Pad Maintenance
The aroma pad in the diffuser tray should be cleaned or replaced periodically to maintain effective scent diffusion. Rinse the pad with water and allow it to air dry, or replace with a new pad if heavily soiled or worn.
