6.2. Soft-Close Seat
The toilet seat is designed with a soft-close feature to prevent slamming. Gently push the seat or lid down, and it will close slowly and quietly on its own.
6.3. Quick Release Seat
For easy cleaning, the seat can be quickly removed. Press the quick-release buttons located near the hinges and lift the seat straight up.
7. Maintenance
7.1. Cleaning
- Clean the toilet regularly with a soft cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive pads, or cleaners containing bleach, as these can damage the finish.
- For thorough cleaning, remove the quick-release seat as described in Section 6.3.
7.2. General Care
- Inspect the water supply line and connections periodically for any signs of leaks or wear.
- Ensure the dual flush mechanism operates smoothly. If it becomes stiff, check for obstructions or mineral buildup.
8. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Toilet leaks at base | Loose T-bolts, improperly seated wax ring, cracked flange. | Tighten T-bolts (do not overtighten). If leak persists, replace wax ring or inspect flange for damage. |
| Toilet does not flush properly | Low water level in tank, clogged trapway, faulty flush valve. | Check water level and adjust if necessary. Clear any clogs. Inspect or replace flush valve. |
| Toilet runs continuously | Flapper not sealing, fill valve malfunction, float ball out of adjustment. | Check flapper for proper seal. Adjust float ball. Inspect or replace fill valve. |
| Slow filling tank | Partially closed shut-off valve, clogged fill valve. | Ensure shut-off valve is fully open. Clean or replace fill valve. |
