Setup
Assembly Instructions
The Real Flame Riverside Fire Pit requires minimal assembly. Ensure all components are present before beginning.
- Carefully unbox the fire pit components. The unit is heavy; assistance is recommended.
- Attach the necessary support legs or base as per the included hardware.
- Place the lava rock filler evenly around the burner ring in the fire bowl. Do not cover the igniter or burner ports.
- Connect the LP hose and regulator to a standard 20 lb propane tank. Ensure all connections are tight.
- If converting to natural gas, follow the specific instructions provided with the natural gas conversion kit. This process should be performed by a qualified installer.
- Insert 1 AA battery into the electronic igniter module.

Operating Instructions
Lighting the Fire Pit
- Ensure the propane tank valve is fully open (turn counter-clockwise).
- Locate the control knob on the side of the fire pit. Push the control knob in and turn it to the 'LOW' position.
- While holding the control knob in, press and hold the electronic igniter button until the burner ignites. You should hear a clicking sound.
- Once ignited, continue to hold the control knob for 10-15 seconds to ensure the flame is established.
- Release the control knob. If the flame extinguishes, repeat the lighting procedure.
- Adjust the flame height by turning the control knob between 'LOW' and 'HIGH' settings.
Turning Off the Fire Pit
- Turn the control knob to the 'OFF' position.
- Close the valve on the propane tank by turning it clockwise until fully closed.
- Allow the fire pit to cool completely before covering or moving.
