Maintenance
1. Cleaning
To clean the frame, gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. For the Plexiglass cover, use a soft, lint-free cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner if necessary. Avoid harsh chemicals that may scratch or damage the surface.
2. Battery Care
Use only AAA alkaline batteries. Do not mix new and used batteries or different brands. Replace batteries immediately if audio playback becomes distorted to ensure proper function.
Troubleshooting
- No Sound or Distorted Playback: Ensure batteries are correctly installed and are fresh AAA alkaline batteries. Replace batteries if the sound is unclear or distorted.
- Cloudy or Scratched Display: Verify that the protective film has been removed from both sides of the Plexiglass cover.
- Recording Issues: Ensure the REC button is pressed and held firmly during recording and that you speak clearly into the microphone within the recommended distance (4-8 inches).
- Back Panel Latch/Button Issues: When changing photos or batteries, handle the back panel and buttons carefully to prevent dislodging any components.
