3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking and Placement
- Carefully remove the scale from its packaging.
- Place the scale on a stable, level surface. Use the adjustable feet to ensure the scale is perfectly level, indicated by the level bubble.
- Avoid placing the scale in environments with excessive vibration, strong airflow (wind/air conditioning), radiation/dust, or strong electromagnetic interference from high-power appliances. These factors can affect measurement accuracy.

3.2 Power Supply
The scale can be powered by either the included AC adapter or 4x AA batteries (not included).
- AC Adapter: Connect the DC 7.5V power adapter to the scale's power input and plug it into a suitable power outlet.
- Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the underside of the scale and insert 4x AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Basic Weighing
- Press the ON/OFF button to turn on the scale. Wait for the display to show "0.0 g".
- Place the item to be weighed directly onto the center of the stainless steel weighing pan.
- Read the weight displayed on the LCD screen.
- Press the ON/OFF button again to turn off the scale.

4.2 Tare Function
The tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container, so only the weight of the contents is measured.
- Place an empty container on the weighing pan. The display will show the container's weight.
- Press the TARE button. The display will reset to "0.0 g".
- Add the items to be weighed into the container. The display will now show only the net weight of the items.

4.3 Unit Conversion
To change the weighing unit:
- Press the MODE button repeatedly to cycle through the available units: g, ct, lb, oz, dr, gn, ozt, dwt, MM, tl.J, tl.T, tl.H, t.
- The selected unit will be displayed on the screen.

4.4 Counting Function
The counting function allows you to count multiple small items of uniform weight.
- Place a sample quantity of items (e.g., 10, 20, 30, 50, or 100 pieces) on the weighing pan.
- Press the PCS button. The display will show the selected sample quantity (e.g., "10 PCS").
- If the displayed sample quantity is not correct, press the PCS button again to cycle through the preset sample quantities (10, 20, 30, 50, 100).
- Once the correct sample quantity is displayed, press the ON/OFF button to confirm. The scale is now in counting mode.
- Add the remaining items to the pan. The display will show the total count of items.
Counting Tips: For items with individual piece weight less than 0.5g, consider taking multiple samples as a unit to meet the minimum weighing requirement. For items with individual piece weight greater than or equal to 0.5g, choosing a larger sample number (e.g., 100 pieces instead of 25) can improve accuracy.

4.5 Calibration Instruction
To ensure continued accuracy, periodic calibration is recommended.
- Turn on the scale.
- Press and hold the MODE key until the display shows "Load" and then the calibration weight (e.g., "5000.0" for 5kg).
- Place the specified calibration weight (e.g., 5kg) onto the center of the weighing pan.
- The display will show "PASS" once calibration is complete. Remove the calibration weight.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
- The stainless steel weighing pan is removable for easy cleaning.
- Wipe the scale body with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the scale in water.
- Ensure the scale is completely dry before storage or next use.

Image: Visual guide demonstrating the removability and ease of cleaning of the stainless steel weighing pan.
5.2 Storage
- Store the scale in a clean, dry environment away from extreme temperatures and humidity.
- If storing for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
6. Troubleshooting
- Inaccurate Readings: Ensure the scale is on a stable, level surface. Check for environmental factors like vibration, drafts, or electromagnetic interference. Recalibrate the scale if necessary.
- Display Shows "Lo": Batteries are low. Replace with new AA batteries or use the AC adapter.
- Display Shows "O-Ld": Overload. Remove items from the weighing pan immediately to prevent damage. The maximum capacity is 10kg.
- Unstable Readings: Ensure the item is placed centrally on the pan. Avoid touching the scale during weighing. Ensure the scale is designed for static weighing; adding liquid or powder to a container already on the scale can cause errors. Tare the container, remove it, add contents, then re-weigh.
- Scale Does Not Turn On: Check battery installation and charge level, or ensure the AC adapter is properly connected and functioning.
