1. Product Overview

The Selve SP Motor Adjustment Cable and Switch is a specialized accessory designed for the temporary adjustment and setup of Selve SP motors, particularly those used in roller blinds or similar applications. This ready-to-connect kit includes a power plug, an integrated switch, and quick connection terminals, making it suitable for all Selve SP blind motors that do not have a resting position. It facilitates precise motor calibration and initial setup.

2. Safety Instructions

3. Product Components

4. Setup and Installation

This cable is designed for temporary use to adjust Selve SP motors. Follow these steps for safe and effective setup:

1. Prepare the Motor: Ensure the Selve SP motor you intend to adjust is properly installed and its wiring is accessible.
2. Disconnect Power: Crucially, ensure the main power supply to the motor is completely disconnected before proceeding with any wiring.
3. Connect to Motor: Using the quick connection terminals on the adjustment cable, connect them to the corresponding wires of the Selve SP motor. Refer to your motor's specific wiring diagram for correct connections (typically Live, Neutral, Up, Down, and Earth). The terminals are designed for easy and secure attachment.
4. Verify Connections: Double-check all connections to ensure they are firm and correctly matched. Loose connections can cause malfunction or damage.
5. Plug into Power: Once all connections to the motor are secure, plug the adjustment cable's power plug into a standard electrical outlet.

The system is now ready for motor adjustment. Remember, this setup is for temporary adjustment purposes only.

5. Operation

The integrated switch allows for precise control of the motor's movement during the adjustment process.

1. Activate Motor: With the cable plugged in and connected to the motor, the motor is now powered.
2. Control Direction:
   • Press and hold the "Up" arrow on the switch to move the motor in one direction (e.g., raise a blind).
   • Press and hold the "Down" arrow on the switch to move the motor in the opposite direction (e.g., lower a blind).
3. Temporary Control: The switch is designed for momentary contact. It will return to the neutral position when released, stopping the motor. This allows for fine-tuned adjustments.
4. Adjust Motor Limits: Use the switch to move the motor to its desired upper and lower limit positions. Refer to your Selve SP motor's specific instructions for setting these limits.
5. Disconnect After Use: Once the motor adjustments are complete, always unplug the adjustment cable from the power outlet first, then disconnect it from the motor.

6. Maintenance

The Selve SP Motor Adjustment Cable and Switch requires minimal maintenance.

• Cleaning: Disconnect the cable from all power sources and motors before cleaning. Wipe the cable and switch housing with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or immerse in water.
• Storage: When not in use, coil the cable neatly and store it in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Avoid kinking or bending the cable sharply.
