2. Safety Instructions
Please read and understand all safety instructions before using the product. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.
- Electrical Safety: This product involves electrical connections. Always ensure the power supply to the motor is disconnected before making or breaking any connections.
- Qualified Personnel: Installation and adjustment should only be performed by qualified personnel or under the direct supervision of someone familiar with electrical installations and motor adjustments.
- Intended Use: Use this cable and switch only for its intended purpose: temporary adjustment of Selve SP motors. Do not use it as a permanent power supply or control unit.
- Inspect Before Use: Before each use, inspect the cable, plug, and switch for any signs of damage, fraying, or exposed wires. Do not use if damaged.
- Dry Environment: Use the product only in dry conditions. Do not expose it to water, moisture, or extreme temperatures.
- Secure Connections: Ensure all connections, especially the quick connection terminals, are secure and properly seated to prevent loose contacts or short circuits.
- Children and Pets: Keep the product out of reach of children and pets.
3. Product Components
The Selve SP Motor Adjustment Cable and Switch consists of the following main components:
- Power Plug: Standard electrical plug for connecting to a power outlet.
- Integrated Switch: A two-way switch (up/down arrows) for controlling the motor's direction during adjustment. This switch does not have a resting position, meaning it returns to neutral when released.
- Connection Cable: The main cable connecting the plug, switch, and terminals.
- Quick Connection Terminals: A set of terminals designed for quick and secure connection to the Selve SP motor's wiring.

4. Setup and Installation
This cable is designed for temporary use to adjust Selve SP motors. Follow these steps for safe and effective setup:
- Prepare the Motor: Ensure the Selve SP motor you intend to adjust is properly installed and its wiring is accessible.
- Disconnect Power: Crucially, ensure the main power supply to the motor is completely disconnected before proceeding with any wiring.
- Connect to Motor: Using the quick connection terminals on the adjustment cable, connect them to the corresponding wires of the Selve SP motor. Refer to your motor's specific wiring diagram for correct connections (typically Live, Neutral, Up, Down, and Earth). The terminals are designed for easy and secure attachment.
- Verify Connections: Double-check all connections to ensure they are firm and correctly matched. Loose connections can cause malfunction or damage.
- Plug into Power: Once all connections to the motor are secure, plug the adjustment cable's power plug into a standard electrical outlet.
The system is now ready for motor adjustment. Remember, this setup is for temporary adjustment purposes only.
5. Operation
The integrated switch allows for precise control of the motor's movement during the adjustment process.
- Activate Motor: With the cable plugged in and connected to the motor, the motor is now powered.
- Control Direction:
- Press and hold the "Up" arrow on the switch to move the motor in one direction (e.g., raise a blind).
- Press and hold the "Down" arrow on the switch to move the motor in the opposite direction (e.g., lower a blind).
- Temporary Control: The switch is designed for momentary contact. It will return to the neutral position when released, stopping the motor. This allows for fine-tuned adjustments.
- Adjust Motor Limits: Use the switch to move the motor to its desired upper and lower limit positions. Refer to your Selve SP motor's specific instructions for setting these limits.
- Disconnect After Use: Once the motor adjustments are complete, always unplug the adjustment cable from the power outlet first, then disconnect it from the motor.
6. Maintenance
The Selve SP Motor Adjustment Cable and Switch requires minimal maintenance.
- Cleaning: Disconnect the cable from all power sources and motors before cleaning. Wipe the cable and switch housing with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or immerse in water.
- Storage: When not in use, coil the cable neatly and store it in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Avoid kinking or bending the cable sharply.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect the cable, plug, switch, and terminals for any signs of wear, damage, or corrosion. Replace the unit if any damage is observed.
