4. Propeller Guard and Landing Skid Installation
Attach the propeller guards and landing skids for added protection during flight and landing.
- Carefully snap the propeller guards onto the arms of the quadcopter, ensuring they are securely fastened around each propeller.
- Attach the landing skids to the designated slots on the underside of the quadcopter.
5. Camera Attachment (if detached)
If the camera is not pre-attached, carefully slide it into the designated slot on the underside of the quadcopter and connect its cable.
Note: For video and photo recording, a Micro SD card (not included) must be inserted into the camera's slot.
Operating Instructions
1. Pairing the Quadcopter and Remote Control
- Place the quadcopter on a flat, level surface.
- Turn on the quadcopter's power switch. The indicator lights will flash.
- Turn on the remote control.
- Push the left joystick (throttle) all the way up, then all the way down. The quadcopter's lights will stop flashing and remain solid, indicating successful pairing.
2. Pre-Flight Checks
- Ensure both quadcopter and remote control batteries are fully charged.
- Check that all propellers are securely attached and undamaged.
- Verify that propeller guards and landing skids are properly installed.
- Ensure the flight area is clear of obstacles, people, and animals.
- Avoid flying in windy conditions.
3. Basic Flight Controls
The 4-channel 2.4 GHz remote control allows for precise flight maneuvers.
- Left Joystick (Throttle/Yaw):
- Push up/down: Increase/decrease altitude (Throttle).
- Push left/right: Rotate quadcopter left/right (Yaw).
- Right Joystick (Pitch/Roll):
- Push up/down: Move quadcopter forward/backward (Pitch).
- Push left/right: Move quadcopter left/right (Roll).
- Trim Buttons: Use these to fine-tune the quadcopter's stability if it drifts in any direction during hover.

4. Advanced Flight Functions
- Speed Levels: The quadcopter offers multiple speed settings (convenient to fast). Refer to the remote control diagram for the specific button to cycle through speed modes.
- Headless Mode: This mode simplifies flight by orienting the quadcopter relative to the pilot, regardless of the drone's actual front direction. Activate via the designated button on the remote.
- Flip Function: Perform aerial stunts with the flip button. Ensure sufficient altitude and clear space before attempting.
5. Video and Photo Recording
The integrated camera allows for capturing videos and photos.
- Ensure a Micro SD card is inserted into the camera.
- Power on the quadcopter and remote control.
- Refer to the remote control diagram for the specific buttons to start/stop video recording and take photos.
- Video resolution is 1080p, and effective still resolution is 0.3 MP.
- Files are saved in MP4 format on the Micro SD card.
- To access recordings, remove the Micro SD card and insert it into a computer or card reader.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the quadcopter and remote control. Do not use solvents or harsh chemicals.
- Propeller Replacement: If a propeller is damaged, replace it with a new one from the included replacement rotor set. Ensure the correct propeller (A or B) is installed on the corresponding motor.
- Battery Care:
- Do not puncture, disassemble, or expose the battery to extreme temperatures.
- Store the battery in a cool, dry place when not in use.
- If the quadcopter will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery from both the quadcopter and the remote control.
- Storage: Store the quadcopter and its components in a safe, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Quadcopter does not power on. | Battery not charged or not connected. | Charge the LiPo battery. Ensure the battery is correctly connected to the quadcopter. |
| Remote control does not power on. | AA batteries are dead or incorrectly installed. | Replace AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity. |
| Quadcopter and remote control do not pair. | Pairing sequence not followed correctly. | Repeat the pairing steps (power on quadcopter, then remote, throttle up-down). Ensure devices are close to each other. |
| Quadcopter drifts during flight. | Needs trimming. | Use the trim buttons on the remote control to adjust stability. |
| Short flight time. | Battery not fully charged; battery degradation. | Ensure battery is fully charged before each flight. LiPo batteries have a limited lifespan; consider replacing if performance significantly degrades. |
| Poor video/photo quality or no recording. | No Micro SD card; card full or corrupted; camera not connected. | Insert a formatted Micro SD card. Check camera connection. Ensure sufficient lighting for recording. |
| Limited control range. | Interference; low remote battery. | Ensure no strong radio interference sources nearby. Replace remote control batteries. |
