Setup

1. Battery Charging

The quadcopter is powered by a rechargeable 3.7V LiPo battery. Before first use, fully charge the battery.

  1. Connect the LiPo battery to the included USB charger.
  2. Plug the USB charger into a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).
  3. The indicator light on the charger will show the charging status (e.g., red for charging, green for fully charged).
  4. Charging time is approximately 60-90 minutes. Do not overcharge.
  5. Disconnect the battery once charging is complete.

2. Quadcopter Battery Installation

  1. Ensure the quadcopter's power switch is in the OFF position.
  2. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the quadcopter.
  3. Carefully insert the charged LiPo battery into the compartment.
  4. Connect the battery's plug to the quadcopter's power port.
  5. Close the battery compartment securely.

3. Remote Control Battery Installation

The remote control requires 4x 1.5V AA batteries (not included).

  1. Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
  2. Insert 4 new 1.5V AA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the battery compartment cover.

4. Propeller Guard and Landing Skid Installation

Attach the propeller guards and landing skids for added protection during flight and landing.

  1. Carefully snap the propeller guards onto the arms of the quadcopter, ensuring they are securely fastened around each propeller.
  2. Attach the landing skids to the designated slots on the underside of the quadcopter.

5. Camera Attachment (if detached)

If the camera is not pre-attached, carefully slide it into the designated slot on the underside of the quadcopter and connect its cable.

Note: For video and photo recording, a Micro SD card (not included) must be inserted into the camera's slot.

Operating Instructions

1. Pairing the Quadcopter and Remote Control

  1. Place the quadcopter on a flat, level surface.
  2. Turn on the quadcopter's power switch. The indicator lights will flash.
  3. Turn on the remote control.
  4. Push the left joystick (throttle) all the way up, then all the way down. The quadcopter's lights will stop flashing and remain solid, indicating successful pairing.

2. Pre-Flight Checks

  • Ensure both quadcopter and remote control batteries are fully charged.
  • Check that all propellers are securely attached and undamaged.
  • Verify that propeller guards and landing skids are properly installed.
  • Ensure the flight area is clear of obstacles, people, and animals.
  • Avoid flying in windy conditions.

3. Basic Flight Controls

The 4-channel 2.4 GHz remote control allows for precise flight maneuvers.

  • Left Joystick (Throttle/Yaw):
    • Push up/down: Increase/decrease altitude (Throttle).
    • Push left/right: Rotate quadcopter left/right (Yaw).
  • Right Joystick (Pitch/Roll):
    • Push up/down: Move quadcopter forward/backward (Pitch).
    • Push left/right: Move quadcopter left/right (Roll).
  • Trim Buttons: Use these to fine-tune the quadcopter's stability if it drifts in any direction during hover.

4. Advanced Flight Functions

  • Speed Levels: The quadcopter offers multiple speed settings (convenient to fast). Refer to the remote control diagram for the specific button to cycle through speed modes.
  • Headless Mode: This mode simplifies flight by orienting the quadcopter relative to the pilot, regardless of the drone's actual front direction. Activate via the designated button on the remote.
  • Flip Function: Perform aerial stunts with the flip button. Ensure sufficient altitude and clear space before attempting.

5. Video and Photo Recording

The integrated camera allows for capturing videos and photos.

  1. Ensure a Micro SD card is inserted into the camera.
  2. Power on the quadcopter and remote control.
  3. Refer to the remote control diagram for the specific buttons to start/stop video recording and take photos.
  4. Video resolution is 1080p, and effective still resolution is 0.3 MP.
  5. Files are saved in MP4 format on the Micro SD card.
  6. To access recordings, remove the Micro SD card and insert it into a computer or card reader.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the quadcopter and remote control. Do not use solvents or harsh chemicals.
  • Propeller Replacement: If a propeller is damaged, replace it with a new one from the included replacement rotor set. Ensure the correct propeller (A or B) is installed on the corresponding motor.
  • Battery Care:
    • Do not puncture, disassemble, or expose the battery to extreme temperatures.
    • Store the battery in a cool, dry place when not in use.
    • If the quadcopter will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery from both the quadcopter and the remote control.
  • Storage: Store the quadcopter and its components in a safe, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
