Battery Replacement
When the mouse performance degrades or stops responding, it is likely time to replace the batteries. Open the battery compartment on the underside of the mouse, remove the old AAA batteries, and insert new ones, ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment securely.
Cleaning
To maintain optimal performance, periodically clean your mouse. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth with mild soap can be used, ensuring no liquid enters the mouse. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
Troubleshooting
- Mouse Not Responding:
- Ensure the mouse is switched ON.
- Check if the batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge. Replace if necessary.
- Ensure the USB receiver is securely plugged into a working USB port on your computer. Try a different USB port.
- If the signal was interrupted, try the binding process described in the Setup Instructions.
- Irregular Cursor Movement:
- Clean the optical sensor on the underside of the mouse.
- Ensure you are using the mouse on a suitable surface. Avoid highly reflective or transparent surfaces.
- Adjust the DPI setting using the DPI switch to see if a different sensitivity improves tracking.
- Buttons Not Functioning:
- For back/forward buttons on macOS, note that they are not supported.
- Ensure the mouse is properly connected and has power.
