Setup

1. Charging the Speaker

2. Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Power Button until the LED indicator lights up and you hear an audible prompt (e.g., the Star Wars theme sound).
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Power Button again until the LED indicator turns off.

3. Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and within 30 feet (approximately 9 meters) of your Bluetooth device.
  2. Press the Bluetooth Pairing Button on the speaker. The LED indicator will flash rapidly, indicating it is in pairing mode.
  3. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, computer), go to the Bluetooth settings menu.
  4. Search for available devices. Select "eKids LI-B67DV" (or similar name) from the list.
  5. Once paired, the LED indicator will stop flashing and remain solid, and you will hear a confirmation tone.
  6. If prompted for a password, enter "0000".

The speaker will automatically attempt to reconnect to the last paired device when powered on, if that device is within range and has Bluetooth enabled.

Operating Instructions

1. Playing Audio

After successful Bluetooth pairing, open your preferred music or audio application on your connected device. Audio will stream wirelessly to the eKids LI-B67DV speaker. Control playback (play/pause, skip tracks) directly from your connected device.

2. Adjusting Volume

Volume can be adjusted directly from your connected Bluetooth device. Ensure the device's volume is set to an appropriate level.

3. Hands-Free Speakerphone

When a call comes in while your device is connected to the speaker:

  • To Answer a Call: Press the Microphone Button once.
  • To End a Call: Press the Microphone Button once during a call.
  • To Reject a Call: Press and hold the Microphone Button for approximately 2 seconds.

The integrated microphone allows for clear communication during calls.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the speaker's surface. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Recharge the speaker regularly, even if not in constant use.
  • Water Exposure: This speaker is not waterproof. Avoid exposure to water or excessive moisture.
