3. Setup and Installation
The SuperATV Flip Windshield comes pre-assembled with all necessary hardware for installation. Follow the included instructions carefully. It is recommended to have a second person assist during installation.
- Prepare the Windshield: Before installation, remove the protective film from both sides of the windshield. This film protects the surface during shipping and handling.
- Initial Placement: Position the lower section of the windshield loosely on your vehicle. The mounting holes are slotted to allow for adjustment.
- Secure Mounting: Attach the windshield to the roll cage using the provided clamps and hardware. Ensure rubber washers are used where hardware contacts the windshield to prevent damage. Do not overtighten initially.
- Align and Tighten: Once all components are loosely in place, carefully align the windshield for proper fitment. Ensure the upper and lower sections align correctly and the latch mechanism operates smoothly. Gradually tighten all hardware, ensuring a secure fit without excessive force.
- Check Latch Operation: Verify that the easy-access latch engages properly. If the lever does not align, slightly adjust the lower part of the windshield upwards until the lever snaps into place.
Note: Some vehicle configurations may require temporary removal and reinstallation of existing accessories such as mirrors or roof mounts during the windshield installation process.

4. Operating the Windshield
The SuperATV Flip Windshield is designed for quick and easy adjustment between its three positions:
- To Open/Vent: Utilize the easy-access latch mechanism located on the windshield. Release the latch and use the gas struts to lift the upper section to the desired open or vented position. The gas struts will hold the windshield securely in place.
- To Close: Gently pull the upper section down until it aligns with the lower section. Engage the latch mechanism to secure the windshield in the fully closed position. Ensure the latch is fully engaged to prevent accidental opening during operation.
These adjustments can typically be made from the driver's seat, allowing for quick adaptation to changing weather conditions or personal preference.

5. Maintenance and Care

- Drying: Air dry or use a clean, soft microfiber cloth to gently wipe dry. Do not wipe when dry, as this can cause scratches.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect all mounting hardware for tightness. Retighten as necessary to ensure the windshield remains securely attached.
- UV Protection: The XR Optic Hard Coating provides UV protection to prevent yellowing. However, storing your vehicle in a shaded area or using a cover when not in use can further prolong the windshield's lifespan.
