Always ensure your device is securely mounted to the tripod head before releasing your grip. Avoid placing the tripod on unstable or uneven surfaces. Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of 2.5 kg (5.5 lbs).
Product Components
The SVBONY SV101 tripod is constructed from aluminum alloy and ABS plastic, designed for durability and portability. Familiarize yourself with the main components:
- Pan Head: Features a 3-way flexible pan head with tilt and swivel motion, and a quick-release plate.
- Quick Release Plate: For easy attachment and detachment of devices.
- Pan Handle: For smooth adjustments of the pan head.
- Bubble View Levels: Integrated for precise leveling.
- Center Column: Extends for additional height.
- Leg Sections: Four-section telescopic legs with quick-release locks.
- Rubber Feet: Anti-skid rubber feet for stability on various surfaces.
- Leg Braces: Provide additional stability to the tripod legs.

Setup Instructions
- Unfolding the Tripod: Gently spread the tripod legs outwards until they are fully extended and stable.
- Adjusting Leg Height: Unlock the quick-release leg locks on each leg section. Extend the legs to the desired height. Securely close the quick-release locks to ensure stability. Repeat for all leg sections.
- Extending the Center Column: If additional height is needed, loosen the center column locking knob, raise the center column to the desired position, and then tighten the knob firmly.
- Attaching Your Device:
- Remove the quick-release plate from the pan head by lifting the safety latch and sliding it out.
- Attach your camera, spotting scope, or camcorder to the quick-release plate using the standard 1/4-inch screw mount. Ensure it is tightened securely.
- Slide the quick-release plate with your device back into the pan head until it clicks into place. Verify that it is locked and secure.

Operating Instructions
- Leveling the Tripod: Use the built-in bubble view levels on the pan head to ensure the tripod is perfectly level before use. Adjust the leg heights as necessary.
- Adjusting Pan and Tilt: Loosen the pan handle to adjust the horizontal (pan) and vertical (tilt) angles of your device. The 3-way pan head allows for 360-degree rotation and 90-degree vertical shooting. Tighten the pan handle once the desired position is achieved.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the tripod with a soft, dry cloth after each use to remove dust and dirt. For stubborn grime, use a slightly damp cloth and mild soap, then dry thoroughly.
- Storage: When not in use, fold the tripod to its compact size and store it in the provided carrying bag in a dry, cool place.
- Lubrication: Moving parts generally do not require lubrication. If any part feels stiff, consult customer support.
- Inspection: Periodically check all screws, knobs, and leg locks to ensure they are tight and functioning correctly.

Troubleshooting
- Tripod is unstable: Ensure all leg sections are fully extended and their quick-release locks are securely fastened. Verify the center column locking knob is tight. Check that the tripod is on a flat, stable surface.
- Device wobbles on the head: Confirm the quick-release plate is properly seated and locked into the pan head. Ensure the device is tightly screwed onto the quick-release plate.
- Pan/tilt movement is stiff: Loosen the pan handle slightly. If the issue persists, check for any obstructions or debris.
