4. Setup Instructions
- Clean the Surface: Ensure the back of your TV is clean and dry for optimal adhesive performance.
- Plan Placement: Before removing the adhesive backing, temporarily position the LED strip around the back edges of your TV to determine the best layout. The strip is 180-degree foldable for corners.
- Attach the LED Strip: Peel off the adhesive backing and carefully press the LED strip onto the back of your TV. Use the provided fixing buckles for additional security, especially at corners or if the adhesive needs reinforcement.
- Connect Power: Plug the USB connector into a 5V USB port on your TV. The product is powered by the TV's USB 5V interface. Ensure the USB interface current is 1A for proper operation.
- Test Lights: Once connected, the lights should turn on. Use the IR remote control to test different colors and modes.

5. Operating Instructions
The Maylit RGB TV LED Backlight is controlled using the included IR remote control.
5.1 Remote Control Functions
- ON/OFF: Power the lights on or off.
- Color Selection: Choose from 16 static colors.
- Brightness Adjustment: Increase or decrease the brightness of the selected color.
- Dynamic Modes: Select from 4 dynamic modes (Flash, Strobe, Fade, Smooth) for various lighting effects.

6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the LED strip with a dry, soft cloth if dust accumulates. Do not use liquid cleaners.
- Adhesive Check: Periodically check the adhesive to ensure the strip remains securely attached. Reapply fixing buckles if necessary.
- Storage: If removing the strip for extended periods, carefully peel it off and store it in a cool, dry place.
7. Troubleshooting
- Lights not turning on:
- Ensure the USB cable is securely plugged into a functional 5V USB port on your TV.
- Verify the TV's USB port provides at least 1A current. Some older TV USB ports may not provide sufficient power.
- Check the remote control battery.
- Remote control not working:
- Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the IR receiver on the USB cable.
- Replace the remote control battery if necessary.
- Lights flickering or inconsistent colors:
- This may indicate insufficient power. Try plugging the USB into a different TV USB port or a dedicated 5V/1A (or higher) USB wall adapter.
- Ensure the connections between the LED strip and the USB controller are secure.
