1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Valuxhome 72 Inches Electric Fireplace. This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, installation, and maintenance of your new electric fireplace. Important Safety Information

  • Always disconnect power before performing any service or maintenance.
  • Do not operate the fireplace with a damaged cord or plug, or if the heater malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
  • Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater.
  • This fireplace is designed for indoor use only.
  • Ensure the power outlet is properly grounded.

3. Installation Instructions

The Valuxhome 72 Inches Electric Fireplace is designed for in-wall recessed or flush-mounted installation. Both hard-wired and plugged options are supported.

Recessed Installation Steps:

  1. Prepare the Opening: Build a wall with a simple frame to accommodate the fireplace. Ensure the recessed dimensions are 67.6 inches (W) x 5.12 inches (D) x 20.28 inches (H).
  2. Move Existing Studs: If necessary, adjust wall studs to fit the fireplace unit.
  3. Position the Firebox: Carefully insert the firebox into the prepared opening.
  4. Secure the Unit: Use the hanger brackets located on both sides of the unit and the provided 6 screws to securely lock the firebox in place.
  5. Attach Front Glass Panel: Fix the front glass panel onto the firebox.
  6. Power Connection: Connect the 6-foot power cable to a 120V AC outlet. Ensure the connection is secure. Hard-wiring is also an option; consult a qualified electrician for this method.

4. Operating Instructions

Your Valuxhome Electric Fireplace can be controlled via the touch screen panel on the unit or the included remote control. The remote control has an effective distance of up to 11.5 feet.

Features and Controls:

  • Power ON/OFF: Turn the unit on or off.
  • Flame Colors: Choose from 3 distinct flame colors to match your ambiance.
  • Fuel Bed Colors: Select from 3 fuel bed colors to customize the appearance of the logs and crystals.
  • Flame Brightness: Adjust the flame intensity with 5 variable brightness settings.
  • Heat Settings: Operate with or without heat. When heat is desired, select between 750W and 1500W heating levels. The fan operates smoothly with low noise.
  • Temperature Control: Set your desired room temperature from 62°F to 86°F.
  • Timer Function: Utilize the built-in timer for automatic shut-off, settable from 1 hour to 9 hours.

  • Glass Panel: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the glass panel. Do not use abrasive cleaners or sprays directly on the glass.
  • Vents: Periodically vacuum the air intake and outlet vents to prevent dust buildup, which can affect heating efficiency.
  • Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, dry cloth.

General Care:

  • Ensure the fireplace is unplugged and cool before any cleaning or maintenance.
  • Do not attempt to service or repair the unit yourself. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
