Troubleshooting

Common Issues and Solutions

Q: What should I do if I can't connect to WiFi?
A: If the connection fails, please long press the "Reset" button for about 5 seconds. When the LED turns red and flashes quickly, you need to reconfigure the network connection, or try to scan the QR code to add the camera.
Q: I have a dual WiFi router, how can I use it?
A: VStarcam home Indoor Camera only supports 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi and is not compatible with 5Ghz WiFi. If your router only broadcasts one signal, you need to go to Wi-Fi Manager to first create a 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi signal, select it, and enter the password.
Q: The camera appears offline or has errors frequently.
A: Ensure the camera has a stable power supply and is within range of your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Weak Wi-Fi signals can cause intermittent connections. Try moving the camera closer to the router or consider a Wi-Fi extender. If issues persist, perform a reset and re-add the camera.
