Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Remove the battery compartment cover on the back of the timer.
- Insert two (2) fresh AA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Replace the battery compartment cover securely.
2. Attaching to Faucet
- Ensure the filter washer is properly seated in the timer's inlet connection.
- Thread the timer onto a standard outdoor spigot. Hand-tighten only to prevent damage.
- Open the spigot fully to allow water flow to the timer. The timer will control the water flow.
3. Connecting Hoses
- Attach your garden hose to the outlet at the bottom of the timer. Hand-tighten securely.
Operating Instructions
1. Setting the Current Time (SET CLOCK)
- Turn the dial to SET CLOCK.
- Use the +/- buttons to adjust the hour. Press the arrow button to switch between hours and minutes.
- Press the arrow button again to confirm and move to setting AM/PM.
- Use the +/- buttons to select AM or PM.
- Turn the dial to AUTO to save the time.
2. Programming a Watering Schedule
The timer allows you to set a specific start time, duration, and frequency for watering.
a. Set Start Time (START WATER)
- Turn the dial to START WATER.
- Use the +/- buttons to adjust the desired watering start hour. Press the arrow button to switch to minutes.
- Use the +/- buttons to adjust the minutes. Press the arrow button to switch to AM/PM.
- Use the +/- buttons to select AM or PM.
b. Set Watering Duration (HOW LONG)
- Turn the dial to HOW LONG.
- Use the +/- buttons to set the watering duration from 1 minute up to 6 hours.
c. Set Watering Frequency (HOW OFTEN)
- Turn the dial to HOW OFTEN.
- Use the +/- buttons to select the watering frequency (e.g., every 6 hours, every 12 hours, every day, every 2 days, etc.).
3. Manual Watering (MANUAL ON/OFF)
To water manually without interrupting your programmed schedule:
- Press the MANUAL ON/OFF button.
- Use the +/- buttons to set the desired manual watering duration.
- Press MANUAL ON/OFF again to start watering.
- To stop manual watering, press MANUAL ON/OFF again. The timer will return to its programmed schedule.
4. Rain Delay
To pause your watering schedule due to rain or other reasons:
- While the dial is in AUTO mode, press and hold the +/- button for 3 seconds.
- Use the +/- buttons to select the desired delay duration (up to 7 days).
- The timer will automatically resume its schedule after the delay period.
5. Activating Programmed Schedule (AUTO)
- After setting all desired parameters, turn the dial to AUTO. The timer will now operate according to your programmed schedule.
6. Turning Off the Timer (OFF)
- To completely stop all watering, turn the dial to OFF.
Maintenance
1. Filter Washer
- Periodically inspect the filter washer located at the timer's inlet.
- If debris is present, remove the timer from the faucet, take out the washer, and rinse it thoroughly under running water.
- Reinsert the clean filter washer before reattaching the timer.
2. Battery Replacement
- Replace batteries annually or when the low battery indicator appears on the LCD screen.
- Always use fresh alkaline batteries for optimal performance.
3. Winterization
- Before the first freeze, disconnect the timer from the faucet and remove the batteries.
- Store the timer indoors in a dry, protected area to prevent damage from freezing temperatures.

- Verify that the dial is set to AUTO and a schedule is programmed.
