Setup
1. Battery Installation
The ZTE Maven 2 comes with a Lithium Ion battery. Ensure the battery is properly seated before first use.
- Remove the back cover of the phone by gently prying it from the notch located on the side or bottom edge.
- Align the battery contacts with the terminals inside the battery compartment.
- Press the battery down firmly until it clicks into place.
- Replace the back cover, ensuring all edges are securely snapped.
2. SIM Card and MicroSD Card Installation
Your device uses a SIM card for cellular network access. A MicroSD card (sold separately) can be installed to expand storage up to 64GB.
- With the back cover removed, locate the SIM card slot and MicroSD card slot.
- Insert the SIM card into its designated slot with the gold contacts facing down and the notched corner aligned.
- If using a MicroSD card, insert it into the MicroSD card slot until it locks into place.
- Replace the back cover.
