4. Setup

4.1 Physical Connections

  1. Connect Monitor: Connect a monitor to the NVR using either the HDMI or VGA port.
  2. Connect Mouse: Plug the USB mouse into one of the USB ports on the NVR.
  3. Network Connection: Connect the NVR to your network router using an Ethernet cable.
  4. Camera Connection: Connect your PoE IP cameras to the available PoE ports on the NVR. For third-party cameras, ensure they are ONVIF compatible.
  5. Power On: Connect the power adapter to the NVR and then plug it into a power outlet. The NVR will power on automatically.

4.2 Initial Configuration (Adding a Third-Party Camera)
