1. Introduction

2. Important Safety Instructions

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, always follow basic safety precautions when operating this appliance:

  • Read all instructions before using the air purifier.

3.2 360° Multi-Layer Filter

The core of the AP80 Pro's purification system is its advanced 360° filter, designed for comprehensive air cleaning.

The filter system includes:

  • Fine Mesh Prefilter: Captures larger particles like dust, hair, and pet dander, extending the life of subsequent filters.
  • True HEPA Filter: Traps ultra-fine particles down to 0.3 microns, including pollen, dust mites, mold spores, and pet dander.
  • Activated Carbon Filter: Absorbs odors, gases, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from the air.

4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking

  1. Carefully remove the air purifier from its packaging.
  2. Remove all protective plastic films and packaging materials from the unit and the filter.
  3. Open the filter compartment (refer to the maintenance section for instructions on accessing the filter).
  4. Remove the 360° multi-layer filter and unwrap it from its protective plastic bag.
  5. Reinsert the unwrapped filter into the unit, ensuring it is seated correctly.
  6. Close the filter compartment securely.

4.2 Placement

For optimal performance, place the air purifier on a flat, stable surface in the room where air purification is desired. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for proper airflow.

  • Maintain at least 8 inches (20 cm) of clearance from walls, furniture, and curtains.
  • Avoid placing the unit directly next to heat sources or in direct sunlight.

4.3 Power Connection

5. Operating Instructions

The IDEAL AP80 Pro can be operated via its touch control panel on top of the unit or using the included remote control.

5.4 Timer Function

  • Press the Timer button (Timer button icon) to set the operating time (e.g., 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours, 8 hours). The unit will automatically turn off after the set time.

5.5 Air Quality Indicator

The air quality indicator light on the control panel provides real-time feedback on the indoor air quality using a color-coded system:

  • Green: Excellent air quality.
  • Yellow: Moderate air quality.
  • Red: Poor air quality.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your IDEAL AP80 Pro Air Purifier.

6.1 Filter Replacement

The 360° multi-layer filter has a limited lifespan and needs to be replaced periodically. The filter replacement indicator light on the control panel will illuminate when it's time to replace the filter.

Replacement Frequency: Typically every 12 months, but this may vary depending on usage and air quality conditions.

  1. Unplug the air purifier from the power outlet.
  2. Locate the filter compartment cover (usually at the bottom or back of the unit).
  3. Open the cover and carefully remove the used 360° multi-layer filter.
  4. Dispose of the old filter responsibly.
  5. Unpack the new filter from its protective plastic bag.
  6. Insert the new filter into the compartment, ensuring it is properly aligned and seated.
  7. Close the filter compartment cover securely.
  8. Plug the unit back in.
  9. Reset the filter replacement indicator by pressing and holding the Filter Reset button (refer to your control panel diagram for exact location, often combined with another button or a dedicated reset button) for 3-5 seconds until the light turns off.
