Setup and Installation
Proper installation ensures optimal performance and comfort.
- Mounting the Intercom Unit:
- Attach the helmet clip to the side of your helmet using the provided screws or adhesive pad. Ensure it is securely fastened.
- Slide the BT-S2 intercom unit onto the mounted clip until it clicks into place.
- Installing the Headset and Microphone:
- Open the helmet's inner lining.
- Place the earpieces inside the helmet, aligning them with your ears. Use the adhesive pads if necessary to secure them.
- Position the hard microphone in front of your mouth, ensuring it is close enough for clear voice capture but does not obstruct your vision or comfort.
- Route the cables neatly under the helmet lining to avoid interference and ensure comfort.
- Connect the headset cable to the Charging/Microphone Jack on the intercom unit.
- Microphone Connection:
Ensure the microphone is inserted in the correct direction into the charging/microphone jack. Incorrect insertion may result in low audio volume.

Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
- Power On: Press and hold the Power/Intercom Button for approximately 3 seconds until the LED indicator flashes blue.
- Power Off: Press and hold the Power/Intercom Button for approximately 5 seconds until the LED indicator flashes red and the unit powers off.
Bluetooth Pairing with Mobile Phone
- Ensure the BT-S2 is powered off.
- Press and hold the Power/Intercom Button for about 5-7 seconds until the LED indicator flashes red and blue alternately. This indicates pairing mode.
- On your mobile phone, enable Bluetooth and search for new devices.
- Select "BT-S2NS" (or "BT-S2" for older versions) from the list of available devices.
- Once paired, the LED indicator will flash blue slowly.
Intercom Communication
The BT-S2 supports pairing with up to 3 riders, with 2 riders communicating simultaneously. The maximum intercom distance is up to 1000 meters in open terrain.

- Pairing Two Intercom Units:
- Ensure both BT-S2 units are powered off.
- On both units, press and hold the Power/Intercom Button for about 5-7 seconds until the LED indicators flash red and blue alternately.
- Briefly press the Power/Intercom Button on one of the units. The units will search for each other and pair automatically.
- Once paired, the LED indicators will flash blue slowly, and you will hear a confirmation tone.
- Pairing Three Intercom Units:
- Pair Unit 1 with Unit 2 as described above.
- Power off Unit 2.
- Pair Unit 1 with Unit 3 (ensure Unit 2 is off during this step).
- Power on Unit 2.
- To initiate a 3-way intercom, briefly press the Power/Intercom Button on Unit 1.
- Initiating/Ending Intercom Call:
- Briefly press the Power/Intercom Button to start an intercom conversation.
- Briefly press the Power/Intercom Button again to end the intercom conversation.
Phone Calls
- Answer Call: Briefly press the Phone Button.
- End Call: Briefly press the Phone Button.
- Reject Call: Press and hold the Phone Button for 2 seconds.
- Redial Last Number: Double-press the Phone Button.
Music Playback
- Play/Pause: Briefly press the Phone Button.
- Next Track: Briefly press the Volume Up/Next Track Button.
- Previous Track: Briefly press the Volume Down/Previous Track Button.
FM Radio
- Turn On/Off FM Radio: Double-press the Power/Intercom Button.
- Scan Channels: Briefly press the Volume Up/Next Track or Volume Down/Previous Track Button to change stations.
Volume Adjustment
- Increase Volume: Press and hold the Volume Up/Next Track Button.
- Decrease Volume: Press and hold the Volume Down/Previous Track Button.
Voice Assistant
The BT-S2 supports voice assistant functionality (e.g., Siri, Google Assistant).
- Activate Voice Assistant: Briefly press the Phone Button twice.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the intercom unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Water Resistance: The unit is waterproof, but avoid submerging it in water for extended periods. Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed.
- Charging: Charge the unit using the provided USB cable. The LED indicator will be red during charging and turn blue when fully charged.
