4.1 Loading the Washer

4.2 Detergent and Additives
- Use only High-Efficiency (HE) detergent.
- For liquid HE detergent, fill to the first line of the cap.
- If using HE powder detergent or pods, add them to the tub before adding clothes to ensure proper dissolution.
- Add fabric softener to the designated dispenser.
4.3 Cycle Selection
Turn the cycle selector knob to choose the desired wash cycle. Available cycles include:
- Normal/Casual: For everyday loads.
- Heavy Duty: For heavily soiled or sturdy items.
- Bulky/Bedding: For large items like blankets and comforters.
- Whites: Optimized for white fabrics.
- Sanitize w/Oxi & Steam: Provides enhanced cleaning and sanitization.
- Cold Clean: For energy-efficient washing with cold water.
- Delicates: For fragile items.
- Express: For small, lightly soiled loads that need quick washing.
- Rinse & Spin: For rinsing and spinning items without a full wash cycle.
- Clean Washer: For maintaining the washer's cleanliness.

4.4 Wash Options
Customize your wash with these options:
- Deep Fill: Adds more water to the wash cycle. Useful for larger loads or when more water is desired.
- Soil Level: Adjusts wash intensity (Light, Normal, Heavy, Ex Heavy).
- Wash Temp: Selects water temperature (Cold, Cool, Warm, Hot). Note: Detergent requires approximately 60-degree water to dissolve effectively; avoid 'tap cold' for optimal dissolution.
- Spin Speed: Adjusts spin intensity (No Spin, Low, Med, High).
- Extra Rinse: Adds an additional rinse cycle.
- Delay Start: Delays the start of the wash cycle.
- Lid Locked: Indicates when the lid is locked during operation.
4.5 Addressing White Residue
If you experience white residue on clothes, consider the following:
- Ensure you are using liquid HE detergent to the first line of the cap.
- If using HE powder detergent or pods, add them to the tub before clothes to allow proper dissolution.
- Avoid overloading the machine.
- Use cycles other than "Normal" or "Express" for certain loads, such as "Heavy Duty" or "Bulky."
- Utilize the "Deep Fill" option or "Fabric Softener" option to add more water to the cycle.
- Use warmer water temperatures (not "tap cold") as detergent requires approximately 60-degree water to dissolve.
- Add up to 2 extra rinses.
- Perform a "Clean Washer" cycle if the washer is not new or has not been cleaned recently.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance helps ensure optimal performance and extends the life of your washer.
5.1 Cleaning the Washer
- Run the "Clean Washer" cycle periodically to remove detergent residue and odors.
- Wipe down the exterior with a soft, damp cloth.
- Clean the dispenser drawers regularly to prevent buildup.
5.2 Water Inlet Filters
Periodically check and clean the water inlet filters to prevent blockages that can affect water flow.
6. Troubleshooting
Refer to this section for common issues and their solutions.
