Setup
1. Power Connection
- Ensure the function selector switch on the side of the unit is set to "OFF".
- Connect the supplied AC power cable to the AC input jack on the rear of the boom box.
- Plug the other end of the AC power cable into a standard wall outlet (100-240V~50/60Hz).
2. Battery Installation (Optional)
For portable use, the Auna BeeBerry Boom Box can be powered by batteries.
- Locate the battery compartments on the rear of the unit (refer to Figure 4).
- Open the battery compartment covers.
- Insert the required number of C-size batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment covers securely.
- Note: When operating on batteries, disconnect the AC power cable.
Operating Instructions
1. FM Radio Operation
- Set the function selector switch to "RADIO".
- Extend the telescopic antenna for optimal reception.
- Turn the "TUNE" knob (usually on the side or top) to tune into your desired FM station.
- Adjust the volume using the "VOLUME" knob.
2. CD Player Operation
- Set the function selector switch to "CD".
- Open the top-loading CD compartment cover (refer to Figure 6).
- Place a CD (CD, CD-R, CD-RW) onto the spindle with the label side facing up.
- Close the CD compartment cover securely.
- The CD will begin playing automatically, or press the PLAY/PAUSE button.
- Use the BACK and NEXT buttons to skip tracks.
- Press PLAY/PAUSE to pause playback, and press again to resume.
- Press the STOP button to stop playback.
- The CD player supports programmable playback and repeat functions (1 track, album). Refer to the display for programming options.
3. Tape Deck Operation
- Set the function selector switch to "TAPE".
- Press the STOP/EJECT button on the tape deck to open the cassette compartment.
- Insert a cassette tape with the open edge facing upwards.
- Close the cassette compartment.
- Press the PLAY button to start playback.
- Use the FAST FORWARD and REWIND buttons for quick navigation.
- Press STOP/EJECT to stop playback and eject the tape.
4. USB MP3 Playback
- Set the function selector switch to "USB".
- Insert a USB mass storage device (e.g., USB flash drive) into the USB port (refer to Figure 5).
- The unit will automatically detect and begin playing MP3 files from the USB device.
- Use the BACK and NEXT buttons to navigate between tracks.
- The MODE and ALBUM buttons can be used to navigate folders or change playback modes if supported by the device.
5. AUX Input Usage
- Connect an external audio device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) to the AUX input jack on the rear of the boom box using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included).
- Set the function selector switch to "CD/USB" or the appropriate input mode.
- Start playback on your external audio device. The audio will be routed through the boom box speakers.
- Adjust the volume using the boom box's "VOLUME" knob and/or the volume control on your external device.
Maintenance and Care
- Cleaning: Disconnect the power before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior of the unit. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- CD/Tape Compartment: Keep the CD and tape compartments free of dust and debris. Avoid touching the CD lens.
