This image shows the breast pump fully assembled, with the main unit connected via the air tube to the breast shield and milk bottle, which is placed in its yellow holder. This configuration is ready for operation.

This image highlights the air cup component, emphasizing its role in creating a closed system. This design ensures that milk is separated from the air tube, preventing back-flow and maintaining hygiene.
6. Operating Instructions
- Positioning: Sit comfortably and place the breast shield centrally over your nipple, ensuring a good seal against your breast.
- Power On: Press the On/Pause button (⏻) to turn on the pump. The pump will automatically start in a gentle stimulation (massage) mode to encourage milk let-down.
- Massage Mode: The massage function mimics a baby's natural sucking to stimulate milk flow. You can adjust the massage intensity if available, or it may transition automatically.
- Expression Mode: After milk let-down begins (typically 1-2 minutes), the pump will transition to expression mode. You can manually switch to expression mode or adjust settings if needed.
- Adjust Suction: Use the Vacuum Increase (▲) and Vacuum Decrease (▼) buttons to find a comfortable and effective suction level. The pump offers 9 levels of suction (170~340 mmHg, 23-45 Kpa).
- Pumping Duration: Pump for approximately 15-20 minutes per breast, or until milk flow significantly slows.
- Power Off: Press the On/Pause button (⏻) to turn off the pump.
- Detaching: Gently break the seal between the breast shield and your breast before removing the pump.
Note: The KINYO Wise-Calm pump is designed for super silent operation, making it suitable for use at night or in quiet environments.
7. Cleaning and Maintenance
Proper cleaning and sterilization are essential for hygiene and product longevity.
7.1 After Each Use
- Disassemble: Separate all parts that came into contact with breast milk (bottle, funnel, cushion, valves, air cup).
- Rinse: Rinse all disassembled parts under cold running water to remove any milk residue.
- Wash: Wash parts in warm, soapy water using a mild dish soap. Use a dedicated brush for breast pump parts.
- Rinse Thoroughly: Rinse all parts thoroughly under clean running water to remove soap residue.
- Sterilize: Sterilize parts by boiling them in water for 5 minutes, using a steam sterilizer, or a cold water sterilization solution.
- Dry: Allow all parts to air dry completely on a clean drying rack or paper towel. Do not use a cloth towel as it may transfer lint.
- Store: Store dry parts in a clean, covered container until next use.
Important: The main pump unit should never be washed or immersed in water. Wipe it clean with a damp cloth if necessary.
Note: This product is not dishwasher safe.
