3. Camera Overview
Familiarize yourself with the camera's components and controls.
3.1 Camera with Waterproof Housing

4. Initial Setup
4.1 Charging the Battery
- Connect the camera to a USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter) using the provided USB cable.
- The charging indicator will illuminate. It will turn off or change color once fully charged.
- A full charge typically takes approximately 2-3 hours.
4.2 Inserting a MicroSD Card
A MicroSD card (not included) is required to store photos and videos. The camera supports cards up to 64GB.
- Locate the MicroSD card slot on the side of the camera.
- Insert the MicroSD card with the gold contacts facing the back of the camera until it clicks into place.
- To remove, gently push the card in until it clicks, then release, and it will spring out.
- Important: Format the MicroSD card in the camera's settings menu before first use to ensure compatibility and optimal performance.
4.3 Attaching the Waterproof Housing and Mounts
The waterproof housing protects your camera from water, dust, and impacts. It is essential for underwater use up to 30 meters.
- Open the latch on the waterproof housing.
- Carefully place the camera inside the housing, ensuring it fits snugly.
- Close the latch securely. Ensure the seal is clean and free of debris.
- Attach the desired mount (e.g., helmet mount, bicycle mount) to the waterproof housing using the provided screws and connectors.
5. Operating the Camera
5.1 Power On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the Power/Mode button (front of camera) for 3 seconds. The LCD screen will turn on.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the Power/Mode button for 3 seconds. The LCD screen will turn off.
5.2 Switching Modes
Press the Power/Mode button repeatedly to cycle through the main modes:
- Video Recording Mode: Indicated by a video camera icon.
- Photo Mode: Indicated by a camera icon.
- Playback Mode: Indicated by a play icon, for reviewing captured media.
- Settings Menu: Indicated by a gear icon.
5.3 Video Recording
- Switch to Video Recording Mode.
- Press the OK/Shutter button (top of camera) to start recording. A red dot or timer will appear on the screen.
- Press the OK/Shutter button again to stop recording. The camera will save the video file.
5.4 Taking Photos
- Switch to Photo Mode.
- Frame your shot using the LCD screen.
- Press the OK/Shutter button to take a photo. The screen may flash briefly.
5.5 Wi-Fi Connection
The integrated Wi-Fi allows you to connect your camera to a smartphone or tablet for remote control and file transfer.
- Ensure the camera is powered on.
- Navigate to the Settings Menu and enable Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi indicator on the camera will light up.
- On your smartphone/tablet, download and install the compatible action camera app (refer to product packaging or manufacturer website for app name).
- Go to your device's Wi-Fi settings and connect to the camera's Wi-Fi network (SSID and password usually displayed on the camera screen).
