3. Connectivity Options

The G603 offers two wireless connectivity modes: LIGHTSPEED and Bluetooth.

  • LIGHTSPEED Wireless: For gaming-grade performance, plug the LIGHTSPEED USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.

4. Software Installation (Logitech G HUB)

To unlock the full potential of your G603 mouse, including button customization, DPI settings, and profile management, download and install the Logitech G HUB software from the official Logitech G website. This software is compatible with both PC and Mac operating systems.

Operating the Mouse

1. Power Modes (HI/LO)

The G603 features a power mode switch on its underside:

  • HI Mode: Provides gaming-grade performance with a 1ms report rate, offering up to 500 hours of continuous gaming. This mode consumes more power.
  • LO Mode: Offers extended battery life for general use, with a slower report rate. This mode is ideal for productivity tasks.
  • OFF: Turns the mouse off to conserve battery when not in use.

2. DPI Adjustment

The G603 is equipped with the HERO sensor, offering a sensitivity range up to 12,000 DPI. You can adjust the DPI settings on-the-fly using the dedicated DPI cycle button located behind the scroll wheel, or customize specific DPI levels through the Logitech G HUB software.

3. Programmable Buttons

The G603 features 6 programmable buttons, including the left/right click, scroll wheel click, DPI cycle button, and two thumb buttons on the left side. These buttons can be customized using the Logitech G HUB software to assign macros, keybinds, or system commands.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

To maintain optimal performance and hygiene, regularly clean your mouse:

  • Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution to wipe the exterior.
  • Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • For the optical sensor, use a cotton swab to gently remove any dust or debris.

2. Battery Replacement

When the battery indicator light on the mouse or in the Logitech G HUB software indicates low power, replace the AA batteries following the installation steps outlined in the "Setup" section. Always dispose of used batteries responsibly.

3. Firmware Updates

Periodically check for firmware updates via the Logitech G HUB software. Firmware updates can improve performance, add new features, or resolve known issues.

Troubleshooting

1. Mouse Not Responding

  • Ensure the mouse is powered on (HI or LO mode).
  • Check battery levels and replace if necessary.
  • Verify the USB receiver is securely plugged into a working USB port.
  • If using Bluetooth, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the mouse is correctly paired. Try re-pairing.
  • Try a different USB port or a different computer to isolate the issue.

2. Lag or Disconnections

  • Ensure the USB receiver is close to the mouse and not obstructed by metal objects.
  • Avoid placing the receiver near other wireless devices that might cause interference (e.g., Wi-Fi routers, cordless phones).
  • Switch to HI mode for optimal gaming performance and reduced latency.
  • Update mouse firmware and Logitech G HUB software to the latest versions.

3. Inaccurate Tracking

  • Clean the optical sensor on the underside of the mouse.
  • Ensure you are using the mouse on a suitable surface (non-reflective, uniform color).
