4. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps to properly install your Hoffen Boat Flag Pole and Mount:
- Identify Mounting Location: Choose a suitable location on your boat rail. The mount is designed to fit both square and round rails with diameters between 22mm (7/8") and 25mm (1").
- Attach the Clamp: Position the adjustable rail mount clamp around the chosen rail. Use the provided screws and spacers to secure the clamp firmly. Ensure the clamp is tight enough to prevent rotation but do not overtighten.
- Insert the Flag Pole: Slide the stainless steel flag pole into the opening of the secured clamp. The clamp allows for 360-degree adjustable directions, so you can orient the pole as desired.
- Secure the Flag:
- Unfurl your flag.
- Locate the two solid brass grommets on the flag.
- Attach the flag grommets to the black plastic clamps and split clips located on the flag pole. Adjust the distance of the clips according to the flag size to ensure it hangs properly.
- Final Check: Verify that the flag pole is securely mounted and the flag is properly attached and free to wave without obstruction.

5. Operating Instructions
