5. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your TT-12 document camera:
- Place the Unit: Position the TT-12 on a stable, flat surface.
- Connect Power: Insert the DC plug of the AC power adapter into the DC IN 12V port on the rear panel of the document camera. Plug the AC power adapter into a wall outlet.
- Connect to Display:
- For HDMI connection: Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI OUT port on the camera and the other end to the HDMI input on your display or projector.
- For VGA connection: Connect one end of a VGA cable to the RGB OUT port on the camera and the other end to the VGA input on your display or projector.
- Connect to Computer (Optional):
- For USB control/data: Connect the USB cable from the camera's USB port to your computer's USB port.
- For computer display input: Connect a VGA cable from your computer's VGA output to the RGB IN port on the camera.
- Insert SD Card (Optional): If you wish to save images or videos directly to an SD card, insert it into the SD card slot on the side panel.
6. Operating
Instructions for basic operation of the TT-12 document camera.
6.1 Powering On/Off
Press the Power button on the top control panel to turn the unit on. The power indicator light will illuminate. Press the button again to turn the unit off.
6.2 Adjusting the Camera Head
Gently bend the gooseneck arm to position the camera head over the object you wish to display. Ensure the object is within the camera's field of view.
6.3 Zoom Control
Use the Zoom In and Zoom Out buttons on the control panel to adjust the magnification. The TT-12 features 12x optical zoom for high-quality magnification without loss of detail.
6.4 Focusing the Image
Rotate the Focus Knob located near the camera head to achieve a clear and sharp image. Adjust until the image on your display is in focus.
6.5 Adjusting Brightness
Use the Brightness Up and Brightness Down buttons on the control panel to adjust the image brightness. You can also turn the built-in LED lamp on or off using the switch on the camera head for additional illumination.
6.6 Using the OSD Menu
Press the MENU button to access the On-Screen Display (OSD) menu. Use the navigation buttons to select options and the Enter button to confirm. The menu allows for advanced settings adjustments such as image mode, white balance, and more.

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your document camera.
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the unit. For the camera lens, use a lens cleaning cloth and specialized lens cleaning solution. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

- Handling: Avoid dropping or subjecting the unit to strong impacts. Do not force the gooseneck arm beyond its natural range of motion.
