4. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps for proper installation:

  1. Mounting: The MP3 doser can be mounted either horizontally or vertically. Choose a stable surface near the dishwasher and the detergent container. Ensure there is sufficient space for tube connections and maintenance. Use appropriate fasteners (not included) to secure the unit through the mounting holes.
  2. Tube Connection: Connect the suction tube (inlet) from the detergent container to the appropriate port on the doser. Connect the discharge tube (outlet) from the doser to the dishwasher's detergent inlet. Ensure all connections are secure and leak-free. The recommended tube size is Ø 4 x 6 mm.
  3. Electrical Connection: Connect the doser to a 24V AC power supply. Ensure the power supply is stable and matches the doser's requirements. It is recommended to have a qualified electrician perform the electrical connection.
  4. Priming (Initial Setup): Before first use, it may be necessary to prime the pump to ensure detergent flows correctly. This typically involves running the pump for a short period until detergent is visible in the discharge tube. Refer to your dishwasher's manual for specific detergent dosing system priming procedures if applicable.

5. Operating Instructions

The MICRODOS MP3 doser operates without integrated control, meaning its operation is typically managed by an external system, such as the dishwasher's control unit.
