Setup
1. Attaching Your iPad
- Align your iPad with the protective case.
- Gently press the iPad into the case until it is securely seated. Ensure all corners are protected.

2. Charging the Keyboard
Before initial use, fully charge your keyboard. The rechargeable battery provides up to two years of use between charges, depending on usage.
- Connect the micro USB charging cable to the keyboard's charging port.
- Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power source.
- The charging indicator light will illuminate. Once fully charged, the light will change or turn off.
3. Pairing the Keyboard via Bluetooth
The Rugged Messenger keyboard can connect to two devices simultaneously.
- Ensure your iPad's Bluetooth is enabled (Settings > Bluetooth).
- On the keyboard, press and hold the Bluetooth 1 or Bluetooth 2 key for three seconds. The LED indicator will flash, indicating pairing mode.
- On your iPad, select "ZAGG Rugged Messenger" from the list of available devices.
- Follow any on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process. The LED will stop flashing once paired.

Keyboard and Case Modes
The Rugged Messenger offers two primary modes for versatile use:

Backlight Control
